This website provides the opportunity to register as a speaker and attendant, to pre-register at the conference and events as an attendant, to hire services, attend events, request information, participate in activities, etc., for which the User must complete the questionnaires provided, specifying the data required for management purposes. Registration by these means can require the User to provide personal data to be effective. Please be informed that, although completing the forms is voluntary, it may occasionally be necessary to register for certain events of activities. EGNSIERRANORTE2019 is committed to the security of user data. When we ask you to complete personal information fields by which you can be identified, we do so ensuring that said data shall only be used pursuant to the terms of this Privacy Policy and in relation to the purpose for which the data are collected. Nonetheless, EGNSIERRANORTE2019 reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy should it deem fit.

Our website may collect personal data and information, such as full name and contact information, such as address or e-mail.
Identifying data: full name, ID number, age (in some cases).
Contact particulars: postal address, e-mail, telephone number (mobile or land line).
Contractual data: data related to contractual operations in order to manage the products or services acquired.
Browsing data: IP address, domain through which the website is accessed and website activity, identification of device, type of browser.
If there is a contractual relationship or the reason for the relationship is the management of the User’s registration for the conference or a related event, you must provide your personal data, as otherwise we will not be able to fulfil the obligations derived from the service or other legal liabilities to which EGNSIERRANORTE2019 is subject. EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will store the data provided providing the data subject’s consent is not withdrawn, and subsequently for merely statistical purposes.
We also inform that, in future editions of the European Geopark Network, EGNSIERRANORTE2019 can act as a co-organiser together with another entity. In these cases, the liability for the personal data collected can be shared, although the data subject will always be informed before his or her data are collected.
- Participation as a speaker
EGNSIERRANORTE2019 needs to process the personal data of speakers in order to manage its contractual relationship with the speakers at the 15th Geopark Conference or respective event.
The legal grounds that enable us to process the data provided is the existence of a contractual relationship between EGNSIERRANORTE2019 and the speaker [art. 6.1.b) GDPR].
EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will store the data provided for long enough to fulfil the contractual relationship and, in event, for the times required by current legislation. The data shall in general be subsequently eliminated, providing they are not required to comply with a legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement. Only in case of express consent by the speaker, may the data be stored for longer than the legally established period.
In any event, compliance with the specific contractual conditions is required.
- Transmission of newsletters and organisational communications by e-mail or equivalent means
If you have granted your express consent, EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will periodically send you newsletters and organisational communications by e-mail, in which you will be informed about our activities, events, news and other information linked to the services of EGNSIERRANORTE2019 that we believe is relevant for you or could benefit you. These e-mails will be sent to the address that you provided previously when consenting to said transmission, consent that can be withdrawn at any time.

The legal grounds that enable EGNSIERRANORTE2019 to process the data provided are the data subject’s consent [art. 6.1.a) GDPR], pre-contractual provisions [art. 6.1.b) GDPR] and legitimate interest in locating and contacting a professional [art. 6.1.f) GDPR].
EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will store the contact particulars provided for as long as is required to maintain a pre-contractual relationship with you. They will subsequently be eliminated, providing that they are not required to comply with a legal provision or administrative and/or judicial requirement. If you have granted your express consent to store your data for a longer period, EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will store them for as long as said consent is not withdrawn by the data subject through the exercise of rights procedure described below.
- Telephone attendant care
EGNSIERRANORTE2019 processes the personal data of people who call the “Attendant Care” telephone number in order to process their queries.
The legal grounds that enable EGNSIERRANORTE2019 to process the data provided is the data subject’s consent [art. 6.1.a) GDPR], and legitimate interest [art. 6.1.f) GDPR].

The entire Conference can be recorded by EGNSIERRANORTE2019, media and, if applicable, the sponsors of events, in order to obtain images of same and their activities. These images may also be used for promotional and/or informative purposes by EGNSIERRANORTE2019 and the event itself.
The resulting images, which could include the voice and/or image of attendants, could be processed and broadcast by different media, such as websites, social networks or fan pages, and be included in TV programmes or device applications (e.g. smartphones, smartwatches, tablets, 3D glasses).
As the controller, EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will process the recorded images for the specified purposes based on its legitimate interest [article 6.1.f) GDPR].
- Video recording of interviews, speeches and events
On some occasions, EGNSIERRANORTE2019 conducts interviews or organises workshops and/or sessions in which the people who participate can be recorded, in which case some identifying data, such as image, voice and name, may be processed. The legal grounds that enable EGNSIERRANORTE2019 to process the data provided will be the data subject’s express consent [art. 6.1.a) GDPR]. Nonetheless, if there is express consent on the form provided by the tenderer, the data will be stored for a longer time in order to consider the tenderer as a possible supplier of EGNSIERRANORTE2019 in its professional sector.
Regarding the personal data linked to the successful tenderer, said data will be stored throughout the contractual relationship with EGNSIERRANORTE2019, plus the time required in current legislation.

EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will process the personal data of people linked to media and press in order to manage their access to the 15th European Geopark Conference or different events to be covered, together with the contact between the Institution and these media.

- Management of visits
EGNSIERRANORTE2019 will process the data of the people who access its sites and offices.
